The Belgian ambient pop group Hooverphonic broke through in the mid-1990s with their atmospheric and distinctive take on trip hop. Since then, the band’s sound has continued to evolve, incorporating influences from psychedelia, pop and cinematic, orchestral arrangements. Their music has been featured worldwide in numerous films, series and commercials, earning them a large international fan base.

In Belgium, Hooverphonic has been an established name for decades. Since Blue Wonder Power Milk in 1998, all their albums, including compilations and live recordings, have reached the top 10 of the charts, with several even reaching number one.

A 30th anniversary would not be complete without Noémie Wolfs, an iconic voice in the band’s history. Her legendary performance at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp in 2012 remains etched in many memories. Her rendition of Mad About You has become a classic and, with over 200 million views on YouTube, is Hooverphonic’s most-watched video.

In the Schouwburg, this music comes even closer. An evening for lovers of distinctive voices, immersive soundscapes and timeless songs.
